Mayor Pro Tem Figueroa is a Proven Leader

I am proud to have served as your Mayor Pro Tem this year and of all that our city has accomplished. We are so blessed to live in this wonderful city. Rancho Santa Margarita is an award-winning master planned community where residents enjoy an outstanding quality of life. To ensure our city remains a great place to live, we need dedicated, proven, and experienced leaders on our City Council. It would be my honor to once again serve alongside my fellow council colleagues as your city councilwoman!

Under Mayor Pro Tem Figueroa’s Leadership…

RSM is Safe: Consistently ranked by the FBI as one of the safest cities in California. This year, we are proud to have been named the 2nd safest city in Orange County – and the 15th safest city of its size in California.

RSM is Financially Strong: Our city has a BALANCED budget and a general fund reserve of $33 million dollars. This surplus enables the council to continue to provide new capital improvement projects in our city without recurring debt.

RSM is Beautiful: We’ve installed enhanced street lighting/median improvements across our city. This year, the gorgeous new monument sign was installed at the entrance of our city on Antonio Parkway.

RSM Provides a Special Quality of Life: Recently, we opened a fabulous new Splash Pad in Central Park that will be enjoyed for generations. We’ve synchronized streetlights to reduce traffic, upgraded our city’s animal services contract to join a local “no kill” shelter, and sponsored the annual Rancho Family-Fest community celebration, as well as the very popular free Summer Concerts at Central Park.
